New Music Monday: May 2014 Playlist

With the latest round of new album releases this month, there was finally a definitive summer vibe in the mix. You'll find no shortage of upbeat, electrofunk tracks on Chromeo's latest album, White Women. It is on their duet with Solange, "Lost on the Way Home," that the pair manages to add some depth and soul to an otherwise dance-heavy album. Lykke Li also came out swinging with her latest album release this month. I Never Learn is full of lyrically strong tracks, with her typically expansive instrumentals to boot.
